.....a few colleagues answer to our basic informations and opinions in this newsletter .... so we got a message from S. ..... (thank you S. ....)

.... when starting in the oil business 22 years ago, commissions were 5-10 cents/bbl to be shared between ALL brokers. The internet has changed this as well because of the greedy brokers who have no clue what they are doing, but want millions for passing a few emails. A couple of months ago I brokered a contract for the sale of Crude to a major and made 7cents/bbl, while yesterday I received an offer from a broker demanding $6/bbl!!
 
Unfortunately, I don't think you will change brokers, most of whom don't understand the business and who ruin deals because of their greed, but I commend you for trying to educate.

Dear Buyer,

As you will recall, I recently provided you with our new current price list on my website  for cement.

 

I must inform you that as expected, cement prices have risen again. Naturally I would like to bring better news but the positive side is that I can assure you that our prices are always the best price available at the time.

 

Sure, you can surf the internet and find all kinds of offers that are based on old information and poor connections. My associate is in conversation with the manufacturers every day to ensure we are completely up to date with prices and of course we quote you based on the best manufacturers price at the time.

 

As earlier warned, prices will continue to steadily rise due to the diminishing availability which in turn has attracted these rises. Prices and the Cement market in general are quite volatile to say the least and now we must price each requirement individually to ensure an accurate rate.

 

Please notify us if you are in the position to proceed with us and I will verify the latest price for your requirement directly with the manufacturer.

 

After which I suggest you proceed to conclude before the next rise in prices. Many factories are already working to full capacity and others will follow until the worlds entire supply is completely spoken for and

obviously as the problem compounds, the price will steeply rise.

 

So if you are intending to buy cement then the time is NOW. You would be surprised to hear of what prices are being paid by some buyers to secure their supply and our rates are a fraction of that.

 

Should you wish to proceed, then simply notify me quickly that you would like us to quote the new current price. After which, if the price and terms are acceptable, please send your ICPO and BCL so we can provide you with a contract direct from the manufacturer so you can conclude at the new price given.

 

I should also take this opportunity to bring to your attention that we offer a range of other products such as sugar. And in particular, our prices for Urea are the lowest available and large volumes are at our disposal.
