I've been wanting to offer affordable steel versions of the Low-head axle bolts for about a year now. Finding the right manufacturer was the hard part. These bolts are CNC machined from SCM 440 heat treated steel and have a black oxide finish. I've also gotten a lot of requests for an 8mm allen broach on the axle bolts for more torque. The plan is to offer the bigger 8mm broach on the steel axle bolts, and 6mm for the titanium version. I would like to offer both allen key options for titanium and steel, but that would be an inventory nightmare for both myself and the mail orders.

These are currently being tested, and will not be available for awhile.

He contacted me awhile ago about making some custom parts specifically for flatland. After I saw his Edmonton edit, I asked him if he would be interested to be on the team. He gladly accepted and we have been working on titanium bar ends and a few other flatland goodies, so keep an eye out for that stuff to be surfacing soon.
Geisha conversion kit available now

The Geisha conversion kits are finally ready. They are available separately as drive or non-drive side. This separation allows for different configurations. I run the drive-side kit and a regular 14mm stud on the peg side of my bike. If you run the conversion kit on both sides, you will save 3 oz off of the stock hub weight.

Included in the Kit:

3/8-26 Low-Head bolt - Special thread to fit stock center axle of KHE Geisha freecoaster

CNC machined 7075 aluminum washer - These washers are not cost effective to produce, however they serve as a perfect example of the Bluesix philosophy; there is no detail too small.

7075 Collars - These collars replace the spacers and wrench flats on the stock axle studs.

Color options: Silver with Raw ti, blue, or gold bolt.

The KHE Geisha freecoaster uses a three piece axle design with an aluminum center axle and threaded studs. These aluminum collars slide on and replace the spacers. I have also made some 3/8-26 axle bolts to work with the odd size thread used on the center axle. I've been riding this set-up for about four months now with no problems at all.
