Greetings my dear friend:

I had the privilege of going to an Exodus Regional Conference @ Green Lake Wi. Thank you for your prayers & support.


The Theme of the Conference was 'Being called out of darkness!

Psalm 18:28 You,O Lord, keep my lamp burning;my God turns my darkness into light.


The guest speaker at the conference was Joe Dallas. He has written a couple books and is working on another book.


There were 3 sessions to the conference, than we broke into smaller separate groups of men struggling, women struggling, wives of men who have issues, friends & family of someone living a gay lifestyle.

Joe Dallas spoke on the life of Peter, a fisherman, willing to do most anything Jesus asked him. Feels deeply, says many thing(shoots his mouth off)impulsive, reactive, yet when he gets it right...WOW. When he gets it wrong we can learn too of God's mercy, grace, restoring love. Trusting Jesus enough to get out of the boat during a severe storm. Telling Jesus I will defend you , and yet sleeping in the garden while Jesus went to pray. Then of course cutting off the ear of the guard. Later denying Christ, during the trial of Christ. When Christ arose from the tomb he told the women to tell the disciples and to tell Peter. He then restored Peter and the ministry set before him. Jesus restores each of us.

Putting some of the bible into perspective of life and who we are. Joe said” the church is not where you go, it's who you are!” It's a big mistake to ignore the messy part of our lives, it's also a big mistake to dwell on the details of the past. As we grow as deciples of Christ we should share what God has done, is doing and will do. In avoiding the temptations we should daily pick up the cross of Jesus and ask Him to help us overcome the desires of our flesh.


Being called out of the darkness, we have deep desires for attention. Often in the past the attention was filled by sexual acts. We need to put spiritual desires ahead of sexual desires. There is of course testing that God allows when we are willing to be called out of darkness. Often the church body isn't ready for the messy part of where we have been called from. That's where we need to asked Jesus to show us where we have been wrong, and let him restore the problem of brokenness with the body of Christ, is often the best kept secret. God wants to intervene in our brokness. When Peter stepped out of the boat during the storm, he was laying down his fears, and putting trust in Jesus. Often we let the world throw fears at us, and sit in the storm of life.


You are only a prisoner if you let saten trick you into thinking your a captive. Jesus came to set the captives free. Be free in Christ!


There were some questions we discussed during small groups.

What false label have I accepted for myself?

What new name would God give me?

What would God correct in life that is holding me back?


God sees in us things we do not see in ourselves,He wants us to fashion after His qualities. He gives us Peace, hope, love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.






On more of a personal note;


On Monday, Nov 2, 2009, I met with a Lutheran Church that is at the beginning of the political/religious battle”should a church allow a gay person to be part of their clergy?”

The meeting was about two hours. They are trying to get some education. My opinion is if the person has stepped out of the gay life-style and living an honest life, than it would be ok. If the person is still practing the gay lifestyle than it would not be a good thing. After the meeting I happen to think of the many people throughout the Bible that stood up against the political powers of the day. Hebrews Ch 11 I often call the “Hall of Faith” as there are many people listed because of their great faith in God.

Sometimes We forget how powerful God is, and how he will never leave us, nor turn from us.


The Care Center in Sigourney, Iowa called me about my Mom on Sunday. It seems she passed a hugh amount of blood in her stool. They sent her to the small hospital on Sunday evening. The bleeding has stopped. They wanted to do more test. After talking to Mom & my older brother we have decided NOT to do all the test. Looking at the reality of the question”it could be cancer!” Then what??? Open her up, and see she is full of cancer and there is nothing they can do, go through painful treatments. Mom decided to just live with the problem. She is already restricted to a wheel chair, why go through the painful process of test, surgeries, more test, treatments?

Fri Nov 6th the Partakers of Grace-(Outreach Band) will be playing in McComb,Ill.

Family support group will meet Nov 12, 2009 @7:00 714 Hamilton Blvd-The Dream Center on the main floor.

Family suppory group will meet Dec 10, @7:00 @ the Dream Center Peoria.


Prayer request:

For the Lord to restore the brokeness of families torn apart by same sex attractions.

WEST BEND, WI – Despite public

Gays & Gays (PFOX).

Director, Offi ce for Intellectual Freedom,

opposition, the West Bend Community

Memorial Library continues to stock

gay books for children and teens while

neglecting books by ex-gay authors.

Many of the gay books promote

homosexual behavior to youth and are the

subject of protests by concerned parents,

whose request to have the books moved

to the adult section were denied.

“Our requests that the Library balance

some of its homosexual material for

children with material written by ex-gays

or with a heterosexual slant have been

ignored,” said Regina Griggs, executive

director of Parents and Friends of Ex-

Gays & Gays (PFOX).

“Apparently, the West Bend

Community Memorial Library is not

interested in diversity,” said Griggs. “We

urge Michael Tyree, the library’s director,

to be inclusive of the ex-gay community

and accept our donation of ex-gay books.

According to its own policy, the Library

has a ‘professional responsibility to be

inclusive, not exclusive, in developing

collections.’”

“For a library to provide children’s

books which promote homosexuality

while denying ex-gay books smacks of

censorship and indoctrination of youth

with a one-sided ideology,” said Griggs.

“It is also contrary to the American

Library Association’s policy against book

banning and censorship in any form,”

said Griggs. “We call upon Deborah

Caldwell-Stone, acting director of the

American Library Association’s Offi ce

for Intellectual Freedom, to publicly

condemn the censoring of ex-gay books

in any community. Public libraries should

be for everyone.”

I look at the direction the pro-gay lobbyist are driving America. As parents & grandparents it's important to understand what is being taught in elementary school. The pro-gay agenda has books in the school system that teach our young people this false information. You can challenge the school material being taught. Some of the bigger organizations that are challenging the school systems are: www.illinoisfamily.org www.wpsw.org (Western PA Sexual Wholeness Network) www.exodus.to


The pro-gay lobby’s claim of immutability is one of the things that upsets the African-American community, as gay activists demand their “civil rights,” likening their “plight” to the decades of public and private discrimination suffered by African-Americans.


However, a former administrator at the University of Toledo brings clarity to the issue. Crystal Dixon, fired from her position as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for her remarks, wrote this in a column to the Toledo Free Press:


As a Black woman... I take great umbrage at the notion that those choosing the homosexual lifestyle are ‘civil rights victims.’ Here's why. I cannot wake up

tomorrow and not be a Black woman. I am genetically and biologically a Black

woman and very pleased to be so as my Creator intended.


And Ms. Dixon was terminated because she spoke her conscience, as a private citizen. This is the course that is being paved in our legislatures and courts across the land: those who disagree with political correctness will be silenced by the imbalanced, irrational laws of “tolerance.”

The demand that for tolerance is something the pro-gay activist does not practice. We should continue to be prayerful that we will be the hands of Christ and show His unfailing love. It's the love of Christ that sets the captives free! Each of us are challenged to 'love our neighbor, as we love ourselves'.
