I have scoliosis and I have to have major back surgery, the first operation is tomorrow and I will be in hospital for about a week then I will be home for a week before I go back into hospital for the second operation so I probably wont be on the site for at least three weeks. I might be able to update on the week between the two surgerys but that really just depends on how I feel, I will still keep the site open but if you want updates on Tom Welling news for the next couple weeks you could go to Devoted To Tom Welling.

Originally Tom was going to be directing the 17th episode of Smallville's eighth season titled Hex but then a different director was scheduled to direct this episode and now The CW have released a brief description of what seems to be the episode Hex.

"Tom Welling directs an episode that finds Chloe (Allison Mack) taking on the identity of Lois Lane (Erica Durance)."

What's going on?

TV Week's Joseph Adalian had this to say,

"In the case of 'Smallville,' producer Warner Bros. Television had been negotiating with series star Tom Welling to return. The CW’s renewal indicates the studio was successful in those conversations."

I think the eighth season of Smallville has been the best so far so I think it's really cool that there will be a ninth season. What do you guys think?
