<![CDATA[The Society: ]]> http://darkside6869.webs.com/myblog.htm Freewebs <![CDATA[Demon 1 year on]]> http://darkside6869.webs.com/myblog.htm?blogentryid=4446387 Well it's been a hell of a ride (excuse the pun).  I think I achieved all my limited goals, the conventions, the book signings, a book reading (the hardest part), possible hollywood film deal (not expecting that).

It could of sold more, but couldn't they all, I've seen Demon on the shelves of the horror section of my local Waterstones (without me begging), met alot of great new writers and some old ones that I was a fan of.

And it's still selling and being reviewed, take heart other authors it takes time for these things to catch on.

Happy Birthday my Demon spawn, one day your little brother Demon II: Demon Wars will come along......

I BETTER EXPLAIN ALL:
 

On Friday 5th December at the Ye Olde Cock Tavern in old London town, UK, I attended the British Fantasy Society's Open Evening. This was my 3rd BFS event since joining in June this year, as well as being able to meet old friends and chat to fellow authors I won the chance in the charity raffle to be a character killed off by the author Tim Lebbon in his book Echo City Falls.
 
Tim is a well respected Horror author known both in the US and the UK. So I am, as they say well chuffed.
 
As it's a horror novel, I may not remain dead for long.

Kumiho my 2nd novel needs revising before being sent off to publishers, Khristoff my 3rd novel is passed the 350 page mark, so the pressure is off now really, it's book length and the climatic ending is just beginning.

Having short story ideas like there is no tomorrow, just finished Into the Endless Sea of Night, which i really love. Started two others and have plans for not 1 but 2 collection of shorts, one Society based, one not.

and the future idea for an athology collection, which is in it's planning stages at the moment.
