Put a coin through your head!

This is more of a silly sight than a real magic trick. Although you'll find that some people are very astonished by this! Here's how it goes:

EFFECT: A coin goes through your head (I bet you guessed that though.)

SECRET: Block your ears with your palms so your fingers touch behind your head. That's the secret. I'll explain:

METHOD: Put a coin in your right hand. Put both hands up to your ears as described above. This is where you act funny and make all sorts of silly faces.

While you're doing all of that silly stuff (actually called misdirection), your right hand slides the coin around the back of your head to your left hand. Take both hands away and triumphantly show that the coin has passed through your noggin! Talk about in one ear and out the other!

TIPS: Try to move your right hand as little as possible. If the audience sees your right hand moving, then it's a dead giveaway.

Also, make sure nobody is behind you...that helps too!

Now go practice!

This is a very very simple trick but it needs some time for prepartion.
So what you do is that take an egg(any egg) and bury it under the ground, at least two feet under the ground. Leave it there for exactly seven days! Then take it out. When ready to show your trick, act like you have just taken it out from the refrigerator and break it in front of every one. Then real blood will come out!!
You must be thinking how this happens, right?
Well, its nothing voodoo sort. Its just simple science. When you bury the egg underground it begins to develop into a chicken and the first thing that develops is blood!! It takes a total of 21 days for an egg to hatch so in the first 7 days blood is made!!
No one can ever guess how you did it! Pretty clever isn't it!
It has a great effect, everyone gets in a total shock. Try it now!!

The method is very simple and you don't even have to do much to carry out the trick!!

So heres how to do it:
First , tell your spectator to put his fingers of both hands into one another. don't let any space between the two hands. Tell him to hold like this while you count 150 (in ur heart)slowly.
Look in your spectators eyes meanwhile.
After this, tell ur spectator to hold out the the index fingers of each hand.
Then tell that no matter what his fingers will touch. And the fingers actually will.
It has a great effect. and can really fool people so try it out..

Preparation: You need to prepare a gimmick. Cut a spoon head of an old spoon. I prefer that you do it with a plastic spoon before a metal one because cutting off a metal spoon head needs a lot of hardwork and help from adults.

Secret: You place the gimmick right behind the spoons head. Fix it in such a way that it looks as if you are a holding a single spoon.
Performance: Now, I have told you the secret , probably its understood how to do the trick. Well, you hold the spoon in such a way that your thumb covers the edge of the gimmick. In This way no one can ever notice that you are holding a gimmick behind. It can be held in any way that you feel comfortable with. Then, tell everyone that you are going to something very unusual with the spoon. You can even say that "oh!this spoon only has one head. It would have been much easier to eat if it had two"
Then you slide the gimmick behind. Don't show it for too long but slide it back quickly before the audience figures out how did it. If you like you can add one more gimmick behind to create a three head illusion.
Also, when you are sliding the gimmick back try to cover it up with your other hand as if you are telling the spoon to have one head. This helps the you to fix the gimmick properly.
Sliding the gimmick needs a little practice but the rest of the trick is a piece of cake!!!!
It may look simple but has a great effect on the audience!!!
Go on! What are you waiting for!!

Preparation: Before doing the trick, rip off one fourth of a playing card of the same colour of suit as the one that you will be appearing to tear.
Start the trick with the card facing in front of you and fold it into fourths, creasing the card and then unravelling it.
Explain to your audience that doing this makes it easier to tear the card evenly.

Performance: Hold the card in front of you, facing the audience, the extra torn card piece should be pressed by your thumb onto the side of the card that is facing you. Rip down the upper middle of the card stopping at the centre. Now fold down the upper right corner and slide out the corner you ripped of earlier as the piece that was ripped of.

( This should look like you have ripped of the corner from the card - the audience cannot see that the real corner is still attached to the card and folded out of their view .)

Now put the torn piece behind the card again, being held in position with your thumb.

Fold what is now the lower right corner behind the card. As you are bending this piece back, slide the extra piece into view again, pretend to rip it off. Place it behind the card and fold the card in half again.

( really it is still together )

Pretend to rip it in half again, but just slide the loose piece off the pile convincingly to look like it has ripped. Place the piece behind the card which is now folded up.

Now even though the card is not ripped, you can fan the pieces to make it look like three or four pieces. Ask a spectator to place their fingers on the " torn " pieces. As you set the pieces on the table, steal the loose piece with your thumb and hide it in your hand by using a finger palm move.

Misdirect and place the loose piece in your pocket. Now ask the spectator to examine the card and they will find that it is in one piece.

This really has an great effect! Take a bow and give a grand finish to your performance!

Things you'll need:

A deck of cards. Max no of cards is 15 and minimum is 10. For magicians who have a very good observation and counting can even use about 30 cards. But I prefer 10 to practice.

Method:

First display a fan of 10 cards upside down to the spectator to choose a card(the card can even be signed).

Then tell the spectator to put back the card into the fan. This is where you start to count. You look at the fan and count how many cards from the beginning has the spectator put the card in. For example, you have 10 card and the card has been put third last in the fan so remember that the number is 7. This is how you remember the number. Then close the fan but never shuffle.(although you can act as your about to shuffle the cards).

Afterwards, use misdirection or tell the spectator that now you are going to pick out his card blah blah blah. Just take the spectators eyes away from your hands. Then very quickly. count the cards the slide the card to the top.

Now you have done what you had to do!

Just flip the first card on the spectators hand and viola1its the card!!!
You can even say magic words and command the card to come to the front after putting the card on top. In short, many special effects can be added to this simple trick. It needs a little practice.
Its really easy so try it! Works everytime!! Good luck!

Things you'll need: A matchstick and tape (any tape works but it has to be sticky!)

Preparation: First, put some tape on one end of the matchstick. The sticky side should be on the top. Like the sticky side should be able to stick the card. Fix the tape from the sides so it doesn't come off when you pull it down between your fingers(that's part of the trick).

Method: Take a card or tell the spectator to choose one. Then put the card on your palm but it should cover the bottom parts of all your fingers. Also use misdirection to move the spectators eyes away from your hand. Meanwhile ,slide in the matchstick with your other hand between the two middle fingers that the tape on top sticks with the card. Try to move your fingers as little as possible so no one can notice what you are doing under the card. After wards tell the spectator to concentrate on the card. Then you slowly with your free hand push the matchstick up with any one finger. Try to move your hand as little as possible! As the card floats the spectator mostly moves back. If this happens move your hand a little vertically but never move your hand up side down. As the card is stuck with tape it never comes off. Don't show the levitation to long but finish quickly. When you finish pull the matchstick out of your fingers quickly that the card almost seems to fall on your hand. Put the match stick in your pocket or keep it in your closed hands(try that the spectator does . You can even show the card to the spectator to prove that there is nothing with it and then walk away.

This tricks needs a lot of practice but works every time! Great effect!
Note:Practice in front of a mirror!!
