    <title><![CDATA[Gimp speed-paintings by Paula Monsalve]]></title>

    <content type="html"><![CDATA[I don't know how many of you have ever tried painting something decent in Gimp or Photoshop, but it takes some serious skill.&nbsp; I recently met Paula Monslave from Chile online.     <title><![CDATA[Holiday over &#151; time to work!]]></title>

    <content type="html"><![CDATA[<a name="" href="http://www.freewebs.com/lenwest/sb_red_hot.jpg"><img src="http://www.lenwest.org/FWThumbnails/sb_red_hot_thumb.jpg" border="0"></a><br>I've just returned from an awesome holiday to Cape Town!&nbsp; It was a well needed rest.&nbsp; During my week there I met Allan Liddle from <a name="" target="_blank" href="http://www.dnapixels.com">DNA Pixels</a>, which I must say was very informative.&nbsp; He showed me quite a few things which I didn't even know Blender was capable of doing.&nbsp; Now that's a guy that knows his Blender 3d!&nbsp; Then I went to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.driverdownband.com">Driver Down's</a> band practice and met their lead singer,&nbsp; Quewin Keyser, and guitarist Jack Stone for the first time.&nbsp; Albert, PJ, Nartjie, Quewin and Jack (Gertjie) ... YOU GUYS ROCK!&nbsp; <br><br>I also did a whole lot of cycling (mountain biking &amp; road cycling), went up table mountain and also went wine tasting at a wine farm.&nbsp; And most importantly I got to spend time with family and friends, many of whom I haven't seen in more than three years!<br><br>So ... I've been doing no work lately, but will be getting back into the flow of things soon.&nbsp; In the meantime here and above are samples of some more magazine work.&nbsp; We received copies of the latest issue of SKI-BOAT yesterday.&nbsp; The two images below were made with Blender 3d.<br><br><a name="" href="http://www.freewebs.com/lenwest/redhot_done.jpg"><img src="http://www.lenwest.org/redhot_done_thumb.jpg" border="0"></a><br><br>I also did a small test animation of the above diagram, just for fun. <img src="http://images.webs.com/Images/Smilies/Round/cool.gif"><br><br><script type="text/javascript" src="http://members.freewebs.com/JS/viewYouTube.jsp?ID=Iy6eVZq1u4s&width=425&height=350"></script><br><br>]]></content>

    <title><![CDATA[Broken Shadows]]></title>

    <title><![CDATA[Saskia &#151; A not-so-pretty girl]]></title>
