I am so hung up on David Bowie lyrics as titles/subjects/captions nowadays.

After contemplating the future structure of the radio, we have decided that the seasons will be dropped. Instead there will be more or less irregular updates - interviews will be the main reason for episodes from here on (so not necessarily the only reason). During times when we've got a lot going on, you can expect more episodes. When things are calmer and nothing happens, we will spare your ears and not be 'forced' to yap about what we ate for breakfast, simply because that is the most interesting event that week.

With the new structure, we hope that the radio will be refined in a way, with a lot of nonsense cut out and instead more focus on what our listeners are interested in.

New year, new ways. You can expect a lot of interesting things from Chucow Radio in 2009!

//Louie & Sarah

Extra episode?

Think it's time for an update...

As you have noticed, we didn't record a new episode last weekend. We will do so this weekend - it was set out to be our season finale. But will it be...?
The answer is: No, probably not. We are in the middle of some new plans (involving some very awesome people) and thus, we will most likely have one more episode than first planned for this season. The details are not completely finished yet, so we're not sure of exactly when this extra episode would be. We will let you know, as far as we have details planned, this weekend when we record our tenth episode.

If you're in Nashville (or, let's say, all of the US - come on, you can travel a bit), you should check out The Hollywood Kills this Friday at the Exit/In. Details are on their MySpace page.

Last but not least - happy birthday Jon Devoto! Now it is also one year ago that the music video for YIACS was shot. While I'm at it, I might as well let you all know that the "making of" is no longer in my hands - Shawn's got it now and it's up to him to feed the masses. I can't tell you when it will be out, so ask him instead...

You're not blind

You can stop harrassing your eye doctor, you have not gone blind. We can't speak for all of you, but perhaps that is the conclusion you have drawn when you haven't seen any updates.
The simple answer is that we haven't updated. Sure, things have happened, but we sometimes forget that we can write as well as talk.

As you must know by now (if not, maybe you are blind after all) we interviewed the wonderful guys in The Hollywood Kills about a week ago.
The interview itself isn't abnormally long, but the chatting continued long after we had run out of questions, as well as hours of the day and phone service range.
So for your amusement we will in the remaining episodes of the season play bits and parts of the conversation. We assure you, you will not be bored. These boys have a great sense of humor. If they weren't extremely talented musicians already, they could go on tour as stand-up comedians.

And as usual, with your two Chucow hosts involved there will be some bickering. That's just part of our charm. But we're still percious! Ask Brandon.

If that wasn't enough for you, the guys have so kindly sent us three exclusive demos that will only be heard on Chucow Radio. You do not want to miss that.

Stay tuned for more updates - we will try to make them more recurring.
